Time:
Location:

Due to the COVID-19 situation, our 2021 Without a Safety Net Fundraiser has been canceled.

Though our annual fundraiser is unable to occur due to COVID-19, we are excited to merge our fundraising event with our annual State of the Clinic address on April 8th from 7-8:30 PM. Please RSVP at the following link: https://weillcornell.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3JbsFumPZPyNraS

We greatly appreciate your support, and are sorry that we will not be able to celebrate with you in person this year. We know these are scary and uncertain times, but if you do feel able to give, you can donate to the WCCC at any time here. Thank you again for your ongoing support, and we hope to see you at our fundraiser in 2022.

Our Mission

The Weill Cornell Community Clinic (WCCC) is a student-run free clinic that offers comprehensive primary care to uninsured New York City residents. Over the past 15 years the WCCC has built a robust and expansive clinic infrastructure that we estimate has served over 500 patients since our doors opened, with more than 350 patients in the past five years. We are one of the most sought out experiences for medical students during their training, and consistently see over 90% of students in each class volunteer with us before graduating. We aim to provide high-quality care to our patients, including preventative care and social work services, women’s healthcare, and psychiatry.

Over the past year, the WCCC has made some incredible steps forward. We have continued to expand our Continuity of Care program, which longitudinally pairs medical students with patients at the WCCC and have created a WCCC Academy for participating students to help them better interface with their patients. We have established new partnerships with the Department of Neurology, PM&R, and an Allergy Expert practice. In addition to the nutrition services we provide, we have also added a monthly food pharmacy to help patients gain access and education for their dietary needs. In addition to broadening our referral network for psychotherapy, we have also expanded our own mental health services by instituting a new CBT group running on twelve-week cycles. We also continue to produce novel and impactful research to optimize clinic workflows and provide the best care possible to our patients. All of these expansions in our services have been made possible through generous donations, and we look forward to being able to provide more services to more patients in the future.
