Tuition-free classes for students ages 21+ who don’t have a high school diploma. Offers morning, afternoon, and evening classes in all 5 boroughs in: Adult Basic Education (lower levels of reading/math), High School Equivalency Preparation (help getting GED), Career and Technical Education (help joining workforce), and English for Speakers of Other Languages. | Can call or email NYC Adult Education department to learn how to enroll patient in classes.

New York State Adult Career and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) | Vocational training and planning for people ages 14+ who have a disability and want help getting a job. Client gets assigned a counselor who helps them develop a plan for employment, and they enroll in free trainings for specific vocations. See list of vocational training services here. | Have patient watch the 3 orientation recordings linked here to determine if ACCES-VR is the right fit for them.
